If you're flying in......

The sectional shows it as Skydive Houston -- 37X -- elevation 235 feet, standard right-hand pattern, freq is 122.9 (very common band in these parts, so it's busy), and I'm at the far end of Charlie taxiway (3rd from the south end of the field).  You could also use my pool as a landmark, but there are several pools in the area.  I do have a ton of trees immediately around my house and hangar, so that makes it hard to see, actually.

There is an asphalt runway that is X'd out... don't land there unless you can do it in 200 feet, and then if you do, use the far north end.  Most everyone uses the turf runway, but sometimes the skydive plane will use the X'd asphalt runway.

The skydive plane does a poor job of announcing "jumpers in 5 minutes" and/or "jumpers in the air."  He does it, but you can tell there's no effort made to ensure he's clear and succinct.  So, I'd recommend approaching with caution to make sure no one is jumping.  (And sometimes there are TWO Otters, so, just because you see one on the ground doesn't mean it's safe to approach.)  You can try calling out for "Alpha Lima" and request their status.

The Google maps (link below) shows what looks like 3 runways.  But the east-most runway is the X'd out asphalt... the west-most "runway" is really the turf taxiway for the turf runway, which is the one in the middle.

If you're driving in.....

Finding Rochen from FM362 can sometimes be difficult.  If you look at the top map (above) then you'll see a "stairstep" look of the road around the Skydive Houston Airport area.  If you're coming from the north, it's the very first 90-degree turn to the right... instead of making that curve, just go straight and you'll shortly be at the stop sign at Rochen.

Coming from the south, you need to go "up the stairsteps" until you get to the last 90-degree curve to the left... instead of making that curve, go straight and you'll be on Rochen.

After you get on to Rochen, just go straight about 1/2 mile, then turn left on to Kittyhawk.  My house is right on the corner of Kittyhawk and Robin, but don't park in front of the house on Robin... stay on Kittyhawk, go past my driveway, and on the right you'll see the taxiway.... the meeting will be on the short wood ramp that leads up to my narrow hangar.
